Bonfire Recruitment have a significant opportunity for a entreprenurial Managing Director / General Manager for a truly unique opportunity at its retained metal manufacturing client based near Glasgow.
Reporting to the board the purpose of this hands-on MD / GM opportunity is to drive the strategy of growth and increase in manufacturing output in line with the organisations set objectives.
You will in addition be fully responsible for the strategic vision, P&L and sustainable growth of the facility and be held accountable for the execution to that vision for your team whilst making your business a leaner, more efficient player in the UK market place.
This desirable role will focus heavily on people development to ensure a consistence culture of manufacturing excellence across the site and the successful candidate will possess strong skills in the areas of influence, learning agility, leadership, motivation, self-awareness and teamwork.
The preferred MD / GM will already be a senior manufacturing leader and is expected to be an engaging, people focussed individual with high levels of commercial awareness and have a successful track record of significant manufacturing growth within a SME environment.
You will be degree qualified in a Business, Engineering or Manufacturing discipline and have demonstrable manufacturing senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility. This role requires strong internal and external stakeholder management and relationship building skills and the ability to collaboratively influence at all levels of an organisation and attract new business to it.
