We are working with a well established Oil & Gas Service Provider to recruit a key position, Finance Director based in Aberdeen.

This is a Leadership Team role supporting the board and is a great opportunity to have a key influence on the current/future strategy of the business, with the possibility of owning equity after probation.

Areas of accountability:

  • Assist as far as possible with all tasks necessary to achieve the business strategy and organisational objectives and to deliver value for the shareholders.
  • Communicate financial performance to the board through the provision of timely, clear and accurate information that meets the requirements of the users.This will include review of subsidiary reporting and provision of support to local finance managers where necessary.
  • Participate in developing new business and specifically assist the Leadership Team and board in the development of forecasts, financial modelling and the identification of possible funding options.
  • Provide strategic input on key operational and commercial issues, especially those with a significant financial impact.
  • Lead and take responsibility for the development of appropriate financial systems, processes, controls and reporting.
  • Manage the business cash flow and take responsibility for the development of efficient funding structures and tax strategies.
  • Manage all global relationships with external funders and advisors such as auditors, tax specialists, legal counsel and credit insurers.


Experience:

We are keen to speak to people who have the following experience :

  • Background of working at a senior finance management level - Financial Director, CFO.
  • Experience within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • International exposure would be advantageous
  • Strong commercial awareness and sector understanding.
  • Can communicate and build relationships across the business
